Back to the trade desk

The market's structural bias before the open.

Before every session the desk reads the structural bias — a sector-by-sector sweep that answers one question: which way is the market leaning before price moves? The cone map groups every tracked sector by its relationship to QQQ and weights it into a single session verdict.

  • Read the cone top-down. Sectors at the top are most bullish; those at the bottom are most bearish. The width of each band reflects how much that band contributes to the bias.
  • Click any sector tile to open its detail — individual instruments, confidence score, and the §-clause it maps to in the rulebook.
  • The session verdict (right panel) synthesises all sectors into a single BULL / NEUT / BEAR read with a tally. That's the bias the desk trades with that day.

The rulebook is the engine behind this bias.
